Dr. Luiza Antas Rabelo (UFAL) gives lecture at PPGCB

On the morning of 9/12/2014, in the Amphitheatre of the ICB 2, Professor Dr. Luiza Antas Rabelo, Federal University of Alagoas, gave a lecture to PPGCB entitled "Role of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2) in the glyco-lipid metabolism : Janus face of the renin-angiotensin system ". Prof.. Luiza presented the results of research that coordinates at the UFAL that are related to the investigation of the ACE influence in pathophysiological processes, such as metabolic syndrome.
