Research developed in the PPGCB is highlighted in the media
The research coordinated by Prof. Kátia Fernandes and developed by students of the PPGCB, which aims to develop biodegradable products for use in food and health has aroused interest as an alternative, effective and non-polluting method. An example of the result of this research is the development of a plastic film with resin extracted from the cashew tree bark and that can help to make this material a renewable alternative for the production of plastic.
